Install the desktop app. It will run in background and the browser plugin will inherit its login if you configure it so, so the login will survive a browser restart. The desktop app will ask for your account password as often or as seldom just as you configure it. With a Windows Hello pin and a TPM you can even make it never ask for your account password, only your hello pin - if you want this.
