Saving biometric factors in 1 Password?

Sorry for the super delayed response. I need to figure out a better way to keep on top of forum notifications.
Happy to describe what I'm looking for!
And thanks for the link .. I got the SSH integration & system integration set up nicely.
I picked up (one of the few) Fedora and Linux friendly USB fingerprint scanners this summer.
What I was envisioning/hoping for: using it as a second factor/passkey in place of fishing for a 2FA code.
I would (personally) be very happy to have 1 Password retain a (locally encrypted whatever) copy of my fingerprints. I know that this would be total anathema to many privacy advocates but .. hey, we all make our own choices. You guys know everything else about me :-)
Perhaps sometime in the not too distant future we will figure out a way to verify a match as a passkey. But yes you make a good point ... right now, I'm not sure it would help.
One functionality that is less futuristic, perhaps, is allowing 1 Password to act as an agent for biometric unlocking on the local/desktop OS. This is already a "real thing" and obviates the very valid concerns about not wishing to share fingerprints with random websites.
Just some loose thoughts and thank you for responding!
