Unlocking 1Password on a Chromebook

I'm considering purchasing a Chromebook and am wondering how I would interact with 1Password on it. I will likely purchase a Chromebook with a fingerprint reader but I see from another thread that...

Hey omzaz! The only way to use 1Password on a Chromebook is through the extension which can be installed in your browser. There is not a 1Password app for ChromeOS. Because using fingerprint ID with 1Password requires an app, I'm afraid that the extension will only unlock if you enter your Account Password. I'm sorry that I do not have better news.
