Usability v8 - I want to click top menu to show hide 1password

On the top menu bar on a Mac I used to click the 1Password icon to view the 1pass 'page' page, but now its constantly visible.

4 years agoThanks for reaching out! It appears the screen shot you intended to share didn't parse properly. Can you elaborate a little more on the steps you've taken to reproduce the behaviour you've mentioned, and what exactly you're seeing?
You're right, we've made some changes in the way 1Password is accessed from your macOS menu bar. If you want to quickly find something to autofill, then Quick Access is your best bet. You can either click the icon, to view Quick Access, or you can use CMD+SHIFT+SPACE on your keyboard to quickly toggle it. From there you can search for an item and choose Open & Fill. Quick Access also offers the ability to now autofill apps, as well as system prompts on your Mac.
If you have your browser open, clicking the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar will offer a more detailed view - based on the site you're on. I can see how being able to resize this would be helpful, so I'd be happy to share your feedback with our team.
