"View Password History" not working in new item window

On the latest 1PW8 Beta for Mac (80700049):

1) Find an item with a password history.
2) Click the 3 dots and click "Open item in new window"
3) In the new window, click the password field dropdown and select "View password history"

Expected Result: Password History popup is shown with the full password history
Actual result: nothing happens

1Password Version: 8.7.0
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: macOS 12.1
