Request: Turn off username guessing in the apps [RESOLVED]
Hello everyone,
I'm happy to share that, with the latest update to the stable version of 1Password (8.10.78), our team has added a setting to turn off the prefilling of usernames when creating new items in the app:
You can find instructions on how to update here: How to keep 1Password up to date
Thanks again for all of the feedback and for always helping us make 1Password more useful for your needs and your workflows.

Thanks for getting back to me bobkoh, I'm sorry for the trouble.
Can you check the version of 1Password in your browser that you have installed? The behaviour you are running into is an issue which I believe to be fixed in the latest updates.

Hello 1P_Evon. I just tested it with the following stable version: 1Password browser extension version 2.24.2, 22400205, on STABLE channel. It worked perfectly.
Now I am perplexed... I tried in so many different ways and it worked 100% of the time. I tried in non-incognito mode, incognito mode, stable 1Password browser extension, BETA browser extension... and it worked flawlessly. Even though I tried several times before logging this issue.
Thanks for your prompt response... you might close this post and sorry for the inconvenience.
Hello Camellochapin1, thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry about the trouble you're running into with 1Password.
I've tested the Ticketmaster website on my end using the beta version of 1Password in the browser for Firefox but haven't been able to recreate the same behaviour.
Can you check if the same behaviour occurs in the stable version of 1Password in the browser?
I look forward to your reply.
