    Q1: How can I easily switch between my personal/families account and my employee account? I want to ensure I’m saving information correctly. 

    A1: Your 1Password apps (browser extension, desktop app, and mobile app) make it quick and easy to move between your business and personal accounts! Whether you're saving a new login, sharing an item, or just viewing a particular login, our apps make it simple to do so among multiple different accounts.     Q2: Is there a difference between a customer using their “employee” vault vs the Free Family plan that comes with our Business subscription?

    A2: As the Owner or Admin of your account, it’s important to remind employees to keep personal info in their free Families account and work-related info pertaining only to them in their employee vault. Why? Because if they ever leave the company, they lose access to their employee vault — and we definitely don’t want anyone losing their information!

    Storing personal items in their Families account ensures they’ll always have access. When someone leaves the company, their account is unlinked and placed on a 14-day free trial, giving them time to add billing details and continue using 1Password.

    Q3: My team’s browser extension locks every 30 minutes or so. Is there a way we can prevent this?

    A3: You can control how often your team’s browser extension locks by adjusting the Auto-Lock setting under Policies > Authentication. For step-by-step instructions, check out this support article: https://support.1password.com/auto-lock/?mac.
