Facing a similar issue like BinaryApe myself, but on macOS with the beta channel selected as well. The issue seems to be that the release in the production channel is currently newer than the latest beta, so it did not even automatically switch to the beta when I tried doing so.
When I manually reset 1Password and install the beta directly, the option for the SDK integration appears and everything works like a charm in Terraform.
After a while, the 1Password app suggests an update to the latest production release again, since it is newer than the beta, but the feature still works right afterwards. However, a few hours later, the specific integration option completely disappears from the settings panel and an attempt to still use it results in this error message:
Client failed to initialize, got error: SDK client creation with desktop integration failed: error initializing client: An internal error occurred when processing SDK request: Error { msg: Ignored
│ message because feature flag has been turned off by 1Password, inner: None }
Was not able to find any workaround, apart from repeatedly reinstalling the beta release to get it working for a few more hours. Would be super awesome if this could be fixed, especially since the v3 of the Terraform provider fixed some issues for me, so I'd like to stick to it.
