cache ssh key password in the gnome keyring for session

Is there a way to cache the ssh key password in the gnome keyring? Like a regular ssh key?

When I am working with some of my admin tasks, having the key prompted for a password at ssh login for each server is super verbose and time-consuming.

What I am looking to do is essentially enter once, have the key work as needed for my computer session on all connections.

Once I have that solved, then I will need to figure out how to leverage for automation. 👍

dnk In the latest beta, you can now configure the SSH agent authorization model to not prompt for each terminal tab, but only once per application. Let me know if that improves things for you!
