Does not play nicely with home assistant

I have a local Home Assistant installation. That has a UI based on Polymer - see https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2016/05/18/why-we-use-polymer/

1Password - any version I have used over a few years - fails to be able to fill in the username/password in the login screen by any means other than drag and drop of values from the 1PasswordX UI or manual copy/paste.

I see that there is a related issue to this last year - https://1password.community/discussion/comment/554893#Comment_554893 - but this appers not to have resolved although its has been closed.

Any ways to make this work, or hints, or can it be added to the list of weird stuff that breaks 1Password :-)

    Hi nigelm!

    I see you posted this discussion in the Secrets Automation section of the forum, but from what you wrote, it sounds more like you are referring to the 1Password browser extension. Can you clarify if you are really using the Secrets Automation tool?
