How to uninstall the ssh-agent?

I was having an issue with the ssh-agent asking for the system password every 2 minutes and wanted to disable it - Disabling the ssh-agent broke git, I can't commit anything now, every git commit ...

Wait, figured it out - I probably at some point set this global git config for gpg signing. Needs to be removed if not using 1pass ssh-agent.
