Save one-time password prompt

Hi,

When setting up TOPT using the default Keycloak v26.3.0 theme I get prompted to save the OTP in 1password. Really like and appreciate this.

I lose the save OTP popup when using a custom keycloakify theme. Thought maybe had something to do with my customizations. Setup a brand new keycloakify project and same result.

How does 1password detect that there is OTP configuration?

Anything I can do to influence 1password to display the save OTP popup?

Thank you for the great product.

  • Hi dashkan ,

Thanks again for your patience.  Given that the KeyCloak system works without the Theme, it sounds like the Theme may be at fault here. If you are interested in debugging the theme, I have linked to the 1Password Docs on Website design to better understand our expectations.

Best of luck to you and feel free to pass this along to the Theme Designer as well, they may be able to fix what's going on.

Keep in touch, thanks! Phil & the 1Password team!

    Thanks 1P_Phil ,

The linked document only describes how to ignore the save prompt.

As far as I can tell, the both themes emit the same html attributes

I am happy to send you a link and creds to the keycloakify version of the UI. Send me an email if you are interested.
