We do have an ugly workaround to this, but it's not what I would like. I have posted about it in the following Github issue:

https://github.com/1Password/scim-examples/issues/391

It is quite disappointing that 1Password suggests to contact their support rather than sorting it out in the repository or in the community so that everyone could benefit.

    Yep I'm with the support at the same time looks like we'll have to do something similar. 

    Agreed it should be handled publicly would have saved me some time reaching out to the support
