Mac App Closing

Is anyone else experiencing the Mac app closing itself all the time?

I haven't figured out a pattern to it, but when I try to Cmd + Tab to it, frequently, it's just not there anymore and has closed out. That of course impacts authentication to sites if needed, as I need to unlock (as that beautiful new "unlock with Mac unlock" feature has not yet shipped to prod).

It doesn't seem like it's crashing out - I see no visible signs that it has crashed at least, but it's just... closed. Several times per day.

I am using Tahoe 26.1, 1Password for Mac 8.11.16 (81116035), Safari 26.1 (21622.2.11.11.9).

FYI for future viewers - Ticket ID DAW-82329-397

Support confirmed that they have had reports of issues where the app is closing both with customers who have hidden the app via Cmd+H, and when recovering from sleep.

In my case it appears most prevalent at the moment when recovering from sleep.

No timescale for a fix, or bug ID.

That sounds really irritating! I'm sorry you're having to deal with that. I did a little poking around and haven't seen other reports of this on the 8.11.16, so I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from 1Password and send it in.
