Scan QR code - Option gone
I am on the Windows desktop app nightly channel and the most recent update seems to have removed the** Scan QR Code** option on Login items that have a TFA code field. Offline Items? How do I remove/remediate them?
I'm on 1Password for Windows 8.10.8 (81008024) and I'm seeing a new section "Offline Items" and a Cloud with a cross through it... The Windows app says "Sync offline items". The extension says "Finish signing in". The items in the Offline Items however seem to be old deleted items? When right clicking multiple, the only options are: When right clicking a single item: So what am I supposed to with them? The log is littered with ... This may have happened in different times when I've attempted to migrate my 1Password 7 data to my 1Password.com account. In any case, I have a load of duplicates in 1Password 8 and it would be very helpful if there were an efficient tool or feature to help me merge/dedupe these entries (and ideally test them to make sure that I'm preserving the correct credentials). I'm suddenly getting notifications in my 1Password for Mac desktop application saying: "Offline: Changes won't appear on your other devices until 1Password reconnects." Also, the red cloud with a slash through it is displaying at the top of my 1Password desktop application. The funny thing is: it's actually syncing with my iOS 1Password apps, even though they are showing the same error message. (And I'm definitely connected to the internet on all devices.) I'm currently running 1P v8.10.0 for iOS. (How can I set it for the Beta channel?) One thing to note: Since I use 1Password to share technical account info with my clients, I'm connected to over a dozen of my clients' 1Password accounts with over 3K entries. I'm a heavy 1Password user, so I'm confident this only started happening in the past few days. Thanks! Hi, thanks for updating the interface of 1password for windows, i have immediately subscribed after checking, great job. But unfortunately, it is impossible to open a local vault that we had on 1password 7. There are some passwords which we are not allowed to sync to cloud (for work), hence they must stay local, and personal passwords that I want to sync to cloud. It would be very nice if opening a local vault on 1password 8. Is it planned or will not be possible ever? Hello, New 1Password 8 for Windows - looks great. I have only one question. Do you plan to support the integration with a local vault that is under Dropbox sync? The current application for Windows is fairly simple, I did not find the function to add the vault from a local file. I'm using Dropbox Sync for macOS and iOS apps and an older version of 1Password 7 for Windows. 1Password and Apple Passkey
Over recent years I have avoided using Keychain and tried to work exclusive with 1Password. I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on Apple's Passkey for its various upcoming OSs. It seems to be dependent on and layered on top of Keychain. How would this impact 1Password and the way these might work together? 1Password 8 Mac Electron App Experiment
Is the 1Password 8 Mac electron app experiment about over so the dev team can get back to building a quality native app for the Mac? The other option is staying on 1Password 7 till I move my family account and three companies I consult with to another platform. I loved 1Password 7, 6, etc., but this version 8 is a mess.
