Both the extension and the app are updated and at current versions.

Have tried various combinations of quitting browser + app, and toggling / untoggling the "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" and "Connect with 1Password in the browser" settings in the extension / app, respectively.

Have toggled on and off the "Allow in the background" setting in System Settings->General

Still getting "Status: Problems connecting 🟠. Please make sure the 1Password app is unlocked." 100% of the time when using the extension, and no option for TouchID

BEYOND frustrated at this point. I just want to use TouchID on my browser extension!

Same issue here, I'm following this thread.

1Password browser (Safari) extension doesn’t stay unlocked, each time I quit Safari, I have to re-enter the password, even though the desktop 1Password is open.

Known bug. They are working on the issue. You could use another browser for the moment.

+1, Should’ve been an automated test case prior to software release

1Password in Mac works fine. The 1Password browser extension in Safari no longer works with my fingerprint. It always requires my full password. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes - it's broken. Check other posts within the discussions over here. You're not alone.

It's broken since nearly two days. Hope they will fix it soon. Don't understand why it takes that long?

I thought it was only me ! That's really, really annoying...

Next version of MacOS includes a password manager app - is releasing next month; the worst possible time on your part for this issue to be occurring.

When is this going to be fixed?
