I am getting this message - "You’ve used a newer version of 1Password on this device. Update to the latest version to keep using 1Password. Contact mailto:support@1password.com if you need help"

WTF is going on? I am using current version of 1 password.
I absolutely HATE this program since it forced us into membership.

The data partition on my Mac was corrupted and I had to recover from back up. Now when attempting to open 1P I get the following:

You've used a newer version of
1Password on this device.
Update to the latest version to
keep using 1Password. Contact
mailto:support@lpassword.com if you
need help.

I have deleted the app and reinstalled and I get the same thing. I have reached out to 1P but they have not responded and I would prefer to get back up and running ASAP. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
