Error: "Your Mac hasn't logged out because '1Password' failed to quit."

I have my my M1 Macbook, Mac OS 13.4.1 Ventura set to logout after x minutes (security requirement for work) This used to work fine, but recently the logout fails with an error the 1Password failed to quit. If I log out by hand there is no issue, it is just the automatic time-out logout that fails. This is a problem, because 1Password is compromising security!

I'm also affected by this issue. My Mac mini with M2 Pro chip is scheduled to shut down and fails because of 1Password.

Thank you for adding your reports, a fix has been coded for the issue and is currently being tested. We hope to release it as soon as possible.

For now, if you right click on the 1Password icon from the macOS menu bar and then click Quit you'll be able to shutdown the Mac without experiencing the pop up. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that the issue is causing.

@1P_Dave thanks for looking in to this. FYI - the issue does not arise (for me) when shutting down or logging out by hand, so no need to quit 1Password in those cases. The issue is only when my Mac attempts to log out automatically, after a specified period of inactivity, as set in settings.
