This may have happened in different times when I've attempted to migrate my 1Password 7 data to my 1Password.com account. In any case, I have a load of duplicates in 1Password 8 and it would be very helpful if there were an efficient tool or feature to help me merge/dedupe these entries (and ideally test them to make sure that I'm preserving the correct credentials). Recently I bought a new iPhone. Since I have 2FA enabled for 1Password I had to insert my YubiKey 5C NFC to prove it's me using this new iPhone. When I inserted the key in the USB-C slot, a dialog appeared in which I had to type the PIN code, but when I tapped on the input field no keyboard appeared to type that code... I rarely need to do it but having recently renewed the card I used for my subscription one of those rare times rolled round again. Given I don't use the web based account manager that often I haven't really looked at what is the easiest way to do it. So it is with a sense of dread that I reached that time to do it again, dread because it's just SO clunky! I prefer to manage these things from a laptop than piddle around with the small screen of a phone so..... 1) I click the link in the email I was sent to update my payment details 2) That opens on the 1PW.com page 3) I enter my account email, THEN the clunky part starts 4) I now need my Secret Key. So now I have to open up 1PW on the phone and go through settings to get to 'Set up another device'. I can then select and copy my key 5) I now paste the key to Notes on the iPhone 6) I then go to that note on the Mac and copy the key again 7) Now I paste that key into 1PW.com 8) Then my 2FA prompt appears so I open up my 2FA app 9) E

I'm sure by now you've heard this by now is there any way you can use the Apple Watch to unlock your Password? This is on a Mac of course. I have a site stored in 1password and had attempted to activate 2FA earlier and failed. Both my Mac and Windows just received extension upgrade in MS Edge browser not long ago. Now I cannot modify the default value for keyboard shortcut to open 1Password. I tried the Safari 17 Beta on MacOS Ventura, especially the new profiles feature. I added different profiles for personal, work, and university. For each profile, I was able to configure the 1Password extension to use different vaults, and a different default vault. This is a great new feature! Since the upgrade, the extension in Safari is often locked, even though the 1Password app is unlocked. Clicking on the 1Password browser icon, reveals a window with a button "Open 1Password", which has no effect on click. After a lot of tries, the extension sometimes gets unlocked and autofill is working. In the past, when returning to 1Password app it would open to the last screen it was on, even after a period of time. That was eventually changed, which is a good thing, but I now think it returns to the main screen too soon. In other words, I’d rather the 1Password app retain the last screen it was on for a longer period of time. At least for a little longer than it currently does. I have two 1Password accounts I use on a daily basis on the same machine - one for work, one for personal use. I would like for there to be a faster way to log in to each account as needed. If I'm already logged into one account but need to log into the other, I currently have to do this: 1) click the extension icon in the browser toolbar 2) click the "all accounts" icon in the upper left of the popup 3) click "All vaults" for the account I need to log into 4) enter the login credentials It would be nice if I could get to the 1Password login prompt in a single click even when I'm already logged into the other account, as I have to do this at least a couple times every day. Or in general, if it could handle multiple accounts a bit more elegantly. Hello, Since I updated to latest Microsoft Edge Version 117.0.2045.60 (Official build) (64-bit), 1Password.com no longer prompts for user IDs and Passwords in any web page's dialogue box or if I click on the little 1Password logo in the far right of the dialogue box. It does allow auto-fill if I click on the Extension Logo but that is inconvenient because the extension logo is often a far mouse-drive away from the dialogue box. Up-to-date 1P install (on the Production channel)... I'm having an issue with scrolling in the 1P Safari extension. If I have more entries than the window can show, it keeps hopping up to the top. Click the 1P icon in the Safari toolbar (unlock if needed) Enter search text in the "Search 1Password" field--choose something that will give you more results than the height of the window can hold. In my case I type "Google", which gives me at least a dozen results. Try to scroll down to the bottom of the results. Something keeps popping the focus back to the top of the results. For some reason, 1password 8 does not seem to be copying the OTP in the entry to the clipboard. At many sites (see attached jpeg), they don't have a separate OTP field. For example USAA.com they ask you to add the 6 digit OTP code to the end of your PIN. See attached. There is no way for 1password 8 to know this, so if you autofill the username and password, in 1password 7 it was easy just press command V to paste and log in. I can't get this working in 1password 8. There are other sites like this. Am I doing something wrong? 1password 7 handled this perfectly. Hi there-- I'm slowly starting my migration to 1P v8. I tried a few of the early versions, but the experience was not refined yet (compared to what my family has been used to with 1P7 and earlier versions). However, OTPs and Passkeys are the coming wave, and since I still need to manage the passwords for all family members, upgrading to 1P8 will eventually become necessary :-) A few questions--macOS related (my iOS questions are in the other forum): - It looks like 1P Mini (the menu bar app) is dead, right? Is there any compelling reason to keep the 1P menubar item in the menu bar? - Confirming that in order to use the old standard CMD-\ for autofilling passwords in various browsers (I rotate between Safari, Brave, Orion, and Arc) that the proper extension still needs to be installed on each browser? I'd like to show items with no tags. First, this should be added as a view in the tags list (maybe at the bottom). I've read that if you type tag: into search on Windows desktop app, it will show items without tags. But, on my system, it shows items with "tag" somewhere (I have 2 items with "tag" in Notes field for example "service tag:"). Using 8.10.16 on Arch linux, I have PAM system-auth set up to use a U2F security key + PIN. This works anywhere else system-auth is used. However, when I try to use it in 1Password, the app has no apparent awareness of my key + PIN. The 'use system auth' button just shakes at me if I press it and I'm not prompted to enter a PIN or any other kind of credentials. Yes, I have the 'unlock using system authentication service' option checked in Settings -> Security. In fact, I'm using 1Password for an ssh-agent and that part is working fine. It's just the unlocking of 1Password itself where things are not working as claimed.
