Same issue here since iOS 18.3.

According to my profile I now have 138 Safari extensions linked to my account (for 3 devices: iMac, iPhone and iPad). Some of those records for the same device have just half an hour among them and still generated new "We've noticed a new sign-in to your 1Password account (xxx) on a new device." mails.

That my iMac is listed as both macOS 14.6(App) and 10.15.7 (Safari extension) is irritating, but less of a problem than the many emails (it seems that reported client will not be updated when I update the OS).

I too, would love to see this fixed...

OS: MacOSX 10.15.7
Browser: Safari 18.3 (20620.2.2)
1Password Extension for Safari: client_build 81056028
1Password for Mac: 8.10.56 (81056028)

Oh guess I should have came here first before opening a ticket lol. It appears it's not just a me issue.

"Same Here Bump"

You should also check your authorized devices in your account management tab. You will have like 50+ Safari's on there!

This is happening with my iOS devices (iPhone and iPad). Most of the time I open Safari on my iOS devices, 1Password opens a new tab asking me to set up the 1Password extension, although I've had 1Password for years.

This started happening maybe about a few weeks ago. It is happening 50-70% of the time I switch to Safari.

In addition, I started getting email that says "new 1Password sign-in alert". Again, not all the time but quite frequently. This also makes no sense as I've had 1Password for years, and I'm using the same devices.

Is there a way to fix this issue? My info:
- 1Password version: 8.10.56
- iOS and iPadOS: 18.3

1Password Version: 8.10.56
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: iOS/iPadOS 18.3

Hi there,
Thank you for contacting 1Password Support. My name is Samer and I'll be happy to help you.
If so, our Development team are currently investigating an issue where users on iOS 18.3 or Safari 18.3 on Mac are receiving sign in emails when they use 1Password in Safari, as well as seeing the initial setup flow. While I don't have a timeline for when the fix will be available, rest assured that they're working to get it out as soon as possible. Though I understand it's not ideal, one workaround for iOS in the meantime would be to disable the 1Password for Safari extension on your iOS device(s) and use AutoFill to fill your logins instead. Similarly, you could disable the extension in Safari on your Mac and use Universal Autofill to fill in Safari. Alternatively, you could try and revert to a previous version of Safari on your Mac.

I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime. Let me know if you have any questions.

Same here, was hoping there'd be more in these forums about the issue

Would love an update at some point—even just to say "it's Apple's fault" or whatever. Thanks
