A timetable for the resolution of this annoying bug would be more than welcome

@Mirv I would agree with it if it wasn't past 3 months since this started to happen AND if there was some official communication showing the "work around" to disable the extension.

I agree that this only happens with some [removed] people that decide to try OS Beta versions, whatever the reason behind they make that choice. Even tough we are paying customers and finding those bugs and reporting them is just another way to pay for it.

@HRD yes a timetable and more clear communication is the bare minimum they should provide to it's users.

I know this happened over the holidays, and effects mainly developers or folks on the cutting edge latest iOS beta, but the delay in rectifying this significant bug does not reflect the level of service and quality I have come to expect as a 1Password user and subscriber since 2009.

@dteare - is there a timetable for this solution?

I endorse @fancypantz comments. This should have been addressed by now.

@HRD – We're talking to Apple about how is best to tackle this, so the timeline isn't fully under our control right now. We're also developing our own workarounds for this. There's been some progress made there but as most folks on our teams have been away for the end-of-year holidays, things haven't been as full-throttle as they might be at other times of the year.

Long story short, we're aiming to get something in place to mitigate this as soon as possible, ideally before iOS 18.3 and macOS 15.3 become the normal public release version and this problem affects more customers beyond beta users. Sadly, with bugs that have their point of origin outside our code, it isn't always a straightforward affair to fix things, but we're working as quickly as we can and with as much help as we can get from Apple to sort this out. In the meantime, turning off the Safari extension should help stop the regular emails.

Hi @GreyM1P Thanks for your comprehensive response that is much appreciated.

@1P_David Can you also add my account to the list of affected accounts? I receive the emails about 15 to 20 times a day. My iOS is 18.3 Beta and my Mac is on 15.2. This issue did start shortly after I went to iOS 18.3 Beta

I figured out why I was still getting the emails even though I had turned off the extension in Settings. It seems that this didn't really turn it off - I had to tap on the little puzzle piece icon in the Safari address bar and turn off the 1Password extension again from there, and then it worked - no more messages since then.

@1P_David Could you add me to the list too please? Because I use multiple devices I've been getting multiple emails per account per day (Work and Personal 1P accounts).
