Hi 1Password-Team, Thanks for your work on the CLI v2 and thanks for letting me participate in the Beta. We'd like the ability to add a secondary URL / Domain / Website to each 1Password Login entry. As a bit of background: We use 1Password to store our Admin logins to our customer's website instances. Each customer website is reachable via our 'internal domain' (https://cosaprod.recollect.net.au/) as well as their custom domain ('https://archives.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/') I am able to manually edit an item in the GUI (by clicking "+ add another website"), which then shows up in the CLI as multiple entries under "urls" op item get "City of Sydney Archives" [...] urls: - primary: false url: https://archives.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/ - primary: true url: https://cosaprod.recollect.net.au/ Adding them manually via the GUI ensures that 1Password Chrome Extension Autofill works for all domains. If I try to add them via CLI I'm only able to add them to a custom section, with

I set up the SSH-agent in 1Password and I like the idea and convenience of it. I had some troubles settings it up, which also has to do with the issue I am now facing. I created a new vault to store all my “developer things” like ssh-keys or development related passwords. I noticed that the SSH-keys did not work. I just read one sentence on a random tutorial that the keys have to be in the personal vault. I copied them into the private vault and it worked flawlessly. Can I change that? I just want that it can also access the SSH-keys from the other vault. It is no big deal if it is not possible, but it would make it far more structured when I can seperate them.If this matters, I use 1Password on Windows.

Hi,I have a PR open against the 1password Jenkins plugin for a while now and I would like someone from the team to review it. According to the docs, 1password maintains this Jenkins plugin.https://github.com/jenkinsci/onepassword-secrets-plugin/pull/27Cheers!

On Raspberry Pi OS (Debian 13 trixie, aarch64), 1Password 8.12.34 logs this three times on every launch:The directory is **not** actually group-accessible. It carries a POSIX ACL:```$ stat -c '%a' /run/user/1000770$ getfacl -p /run/user/1000# owner: pi# group: piuser::rwxuser:vnc:rwx      <- wayvnc runs as user 'vnc' and needs the Wayland socketgroup::---        <- real group permission: NONEmask::rwx         <- what stat() reports in the group fieldother::---````group::` is `---`. The `770` that `stat()` returns is the **ACL mask**, which is what the group bits display as on any file with an extended ACL — standard POSIX ACL behaviour, not a misconfiguration. Only `pi` and `vnc` can enter the directory. The permission check appears to test `st_mode & 0o077` and refuse when any bit is set. On any system that puts an ACL on the runtime directory, that is a **false positive**.**This is not an exotic setup.** Raspberry Pi OS adds this ACL automatically whenever the built-in VN

When a vault contains two items with the same title — one active, one archived — op run can resolve the archived one and abort with an error saying the item has been deleted or archived. The active item is fine, and op read / op item get resolve it correctly the whole time. The behaviour only appears once the env file crosses a small number of references to that item, which is what made it hard to pin down: every one-off check you'd naturally run to diagnose it passes.Environment: op 2.39.0, macOS (Apple Silicon), installed via Homebrew. What I was doing — running a command under op run with an env file of ~30 secret references, all pointing at fields on a single item. What happened — the could not find item ENV in vault <vault>, because it has been deleted or archived error, followed by proof the item was active: op read returns the value, op item get returns the item with all fields. What I tried — the nine-row probe table: reference count (1, 2, 6, 31) crossed with addressing (tit

macOS: 26.3.1 (a) (25D771280a) op version: 2.33.1A few days ago, I upgraded the CLI from Homebrew, and all my Terminal sessions started to hang randomly from time to time. So I can no longer use it in the scripts anymore. I tested across multiple Terminals (Warp, macOS Terminal, iTerm) to make sure it wasn't isolated to a given terminal.I tried to research online, and I found https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw/issues/55459 which solved my problem, at least for now. I had to add that `export OP_CACHE=false`, so it seems that it wasn't related to my computer per se (to be clear, it is NOT about openclaw in my case)I can't find any thread in the forum, but ideally, `op` fixes the situation.

This is going to be a longshot but worth a try at least. Are there any iPad SSH apps that are known to integrate with 1Password for SSH keys? I’d rather not import keys into the app itself. I’d like to 1Password as the single source of truth for SSH keys.Stretch goal: This one’s really a hail mary, because I’m not even sure if this is possible. Does anyone know of any SSH apps for iPad integrate with 1Password for SSH keys AND forward an ssh-agent?My uses cases are the typical ones:be able to authenticated to other machines one or more hops away be able to sign git commits with the SSH key that’s in my 1Password accountAre there any other ways to approach this that maybe I haven’t thought of?

Hello 👋 I was trying to migrate our 1Password local setup to use the new environnement feature, but I am facing an issue with multilines secrets. With the current secret reference syntax ( op:// ), everything is working as expected. However, the parseOpEnvOutput only returns the first line. Thanks,Jérôme

I've been using 1Password with Claude via the CLI in Windows for a couple of weeks now. Within the past couple of days, I've had an odd issue start popping up. I generally run multiple sessions of Claude code at the same time, and I do have 1Password connected so it can pull information from there. What has started happening, though, is that whenever Claude goes to access 1Password, weird error text starts overlaying. In one of the CLI browsers that I'm working in—it's always in the same one, even if I have multiple browsers up and even if multiple Claude different sessions are accessing 1Password—I put a screenshot of the issue below. I made sure to delete any sensitive information, but this is the type of information that starts showing. Basically, you can see it takes over the bottom of the screen. And what will happen is if I move the CLI screen to a different area or resize it, that odd messaging at the bottom goes away. But as soon as Claude accesses 1Password again, it comes bac

I have built a webauthn integration that works perfectly with native android, google password manager, and bitwarden password manager. However, when I try to use 1Password to save the passkeys I get an error message:"Unable to save passkey. For security reasons, 1Password did not save this passkey. The associated URL for this passkey does not match the selected app."I can't find anywhere in the docs how to address this issue. I assume that it is related to the RP ID. I have tried the FQDN as well as the "android:apk-key-hash:" that android returns after a successful verification.Has anyone run into this before? Is there documentation on how I should be configuring my Attestation payload to be compatible with 1Password?

Very long time user (nearly two decades!), first time toe-stubber (OK not exactly first time, but first time where I can’t figure out any fixes myself!)  --  Tried to use the beta MCP from inside of a Linux homebrew installed claude-code today and I get either parent process verification failed: Binary Permissions (directly running /opt/1Password/onepassword-mcp) or ...Io(Kind(PermissionDenied)) if I try to wrap with op run -- with no popup/prompt to allow in either case.  I’ll note my environment is complicated versus many users “norm” since I’m actually running a remote X session for the UI, however the SSH agent socket works, and the op CLI in the general case works, as does using op run to wrapper expanding env vars. Yes Labs->enable MCP is on, and Developer->MCP server is on.  In trying to debug/resolve I also turned on the CLI integration and 1P SDK integration (both of which I usually have off so that when I’m totally headless/X session free op signin still works). Actual

The "Local .env file" options is not shown in my destination options for environments. The only options I have is AWS Secrets Manager.I tried with both my Business and Personal accounts and I have the same behaviour.Am I missing something here ? Do I have to enable a certain setting so that this option is available ?Thank you for your help!

I’m trying to use the local .env feature in 1Password for the first time. I can create an environment no problem, but if I try clicking on the “Choose file path” button, nothing happens. I’ve even run 1Password from the command line with ‘--log=trace’ on hoping to see some kind of error message and nothing shows up in the logs when I click the button. (Aurora Linux, installed layered on with rpm-ostree, 1Password version 8.12.32)

Hi 1Password Team / Community,I’m reporting an issue where the 1Password browser extension detects Step 1 (username) of an identifier-first login workflow, but fails to detect or offer autofill for Step 2 (password). After contacting the institution's tech team, they confirmed that their platform is powered by Q2 Digital Banking and provided specific technical details on why the extension is struggling: Web Components (Shadow DOM): The password input on Step 2 is rendered inside a Q2 Web Component, isolating the field. Generic Attributes: The forms use generic autocomplete="on" attributes rather than autocomplete="username" and autocomplete="current-password". Direct response from the bank:"The current Q2 login is a multi-step process... The password step is rendered through a Q2 web component, which may explain why some password-manager extensions recognize the first step but do not consistently associate or autofill the password field on the second step."Since Q2 powers the digital

Sometimes I want to login on my servers via my phone, but my SSH keys are stored in 1password. I would want to use Termux and login on a server via the 1password agent connecting to the Android app.

The service accounts functionality works very nicely, but if you create vaults after you create a credential and want to share that vault with the credential, there is currently no way to edit the token sharing commission in order to do that.  This is a blocker for many AI agent use cases. On the one hand, users wish to control the blast radius. On the other, reprovisioning new tokens solely to add a single additional vault is cumbersome and time-consuming.  (Product: OP / CLI)

in my 1password application it is showing the environments but in browser admin dashboard it says no environments both accounts are same.I wanna give access to the team for the environment but in admin dashboard it shows no environment.

I’ve been using 1password integrated into my terminal for years, it’s great! It was fine on 26.6.0. Now I’ve updated to 26.6.1, and now op keeps telling me that I’m not logged in:> [ERROR] 2026/08/08 19:03:55 error initializing client: You are not currently signed in. Please run `op signin --help` for instructions If I use `eval $(op signin)`, I can enter my password, and things work for a while, but eventually I’m logged out again. Before upgrading, I hadn’t had to use `op signin` in years. Is there some setting I’m missing? Has 26.6.1 locked something down?

When attempting to create an environment on a completely up to date and synced (I checked, regular items are being synced into it) 1Password app on windows, this error is coming up. Restarting app, restarting PC both tried, both didnt fix.

Hi 1Password team, I've come across several existing community reports describing zombie 1Password-BrowserSupport processes when using an unsupported browser. I also confirmed that adding the browser to the Trusted Browsers list works around the issue. However, I don't think this completely addresses the underlying problem.Whether a browser is trusted or unsupported, leaving zombie processes behind after the browser exits is undesirable and can negatively impact the overall stability and resource usage of the operating system. While adding the browser to the trusted list avoids the issue, it seems more like a workaround than a fix. From my perspective, the 1Password-BrowserSupport process should terminate cleanly regardless of whether the browser is recognized as trusted. Is this behavior already being tracked internally? If not, I'd like to report it as a bug. I'd really appreciate it if the underlying issue could be investigated and resolved rather than relying solely on the trusted bro

Our workflowWe run local TypeScript maintenance scripts against production. By policy our engineers have no access to our cloud provider's secret manager, so 1Password is the store of record for production secrets. A script declares which secrets it needs, and the engineer approves the read at runtime via the desktop app. Increasingly these scripts are written and executed by AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex) running in the engineer's terminal. The problemThe authorization prompt shows the account name and the requesting process — for us that renders as "Allow Code to get CLI access", i.e. VS Code, the app hosting the terminal. It does not say which item is being read. Combined with two documented behaviours:authorization is per-account, not per-item, and it "extends to sub-shell processes in that window"…approving one read grants every subprocess in that terminal access to every item in the account until lock, timeout, or op signout. So the engineer clicking Approve cannot tell what

I like to keep my 1Password locking when my PC sleeps/locks and I use it for SSH authorization and commit signing. When I put an AI agent to work and it needs to do git stuff, I have to authorize it. I like it, but in some cases I would like that during this authorization I could click somewhere to make this specific authorization stay even if the computer locks.

Our team would love to adopt Environments but are running into some limitations:Programmatic writes to EnvironmentsAre there plans to support creating/updating Environments and their variables via the 1Password CLI or 1Password Connect? Currently, AWS Secrets Manager is our source of truth for application secrets and we have a Lambda job that syncs those secrets into 1Password using the 1Password CLI. We’d love to switch that sync to populate Environments, but we can’t do that (yet?) without a write API/CLI for Environments.Headless/CI usageWe’d like to use Environments in CI. Unless I’m missing something, mounting Environments appears to be configured solely through the UI right now. Is there a way (or plan) to support Environments in CI pipelines, e.g. via a GitHub Action? For context, today we make this work with 1Password CLI + secure notes + secret references, which is fine, but the named pipe pattern would simplify a lot of workflows for us.Thanks!
