Feature Request - Different accounts for different browser profiles
Hi, I have different browser profiles on my computer and each belong to a different company, and one is personal. 1Password can use multiple accounts at the same time; however, I need to use only certain accounts for each chrome profile. So that the passwords are not mixed.
Thank you very much for your reply. I just tried your suggestion and found out that I am able to deactivate one account in the 1Password browser plugin's settings regardless of if it is connected to the native client or not. And I was able to deactivate the other account in the other browser.
Therefore, we can conclude that this feature is already implemented. And we can close this request.

I'm glad that you were able to find a solution! For anyone else who needs the feature, you can follow these steps to select which account(s) you see in 1Password in each of your browser profiles: Switch accounts

I have neither tested this, nor given it much thought, but given how tricky this would be when the interface between the browser plugin and the native client is a single socket, perhaps a solution is to not allow the browser plugin to connect to the native client, but to identify and authenticate the extension in each browser profile to each different 1Password account.
You would still use the native client to manage Items and Vaults, but the domain matching, field filling, etc. would be handled by the extension.
Does this work?
