Title: 1Password Chrome Extension (v8.11.14.24) Causes Unwanted Vertical Scrollbar by Injecting 1p-live-region Element Hello 1Password Team, I’m encountering a layout issue triggered by the 1Password Chrome extension, which I believe was introduced in a recent update (within the last week or two). Below are the details: Environment: Device: MacBook Pro 15-inch, 2018 (macOS 15.6.1) Browser: Chrome 141 1Password Extension Version: 8.11.14.24 Issue Description: The page structure includes a root div inside the body with styles set to width: 100vw and height: 100vh, while the html element has width: 100% and height: 100%. Under normal conditions, the page renders correctly without any scrollbars. However, when an input field on the page is focused, the 1Password extension injects a new element into the body with the ID 1p-live-region. This element has a fixed height of 1px, which introduces an unwanted vertical scrollbar and breaks the intended layout. Steps to Reproduce: Load a page with a root div set to 100vw/100vh and html set to 100% height/width. Observe that the page displays correctly without scrollbars. Focus on any input field to trigger the 1Password extension. The 1p-live-region element is added, causing a vertical scrollbar to appear. Expected Behavior: The injected 1p-live-region element should not disrupt the page layout or cause scrollbars to appear. This issue seems to be a recent regression. I’d appreciate it if the team could investigate and resolve it. Thank you for your attention and hard work! Let me know if you need additional details or clarifications.1.1KViews11likes20CommentsFeature Request - Different accounts for different browser profiles
Hi, I have different browser profiles on my computer and each belong to a different company, and one is personal. 1Password can use multiple accounts at the same time; however, I need to use only certain accounts for each chrome profile. So that the passwords are not mixed.Solved13Views0likes3CommentsInterferes with Microsoft Company Portal Passkeys
1Password extension interferes with the passkey flow for Microsoft Entra / Company Portal. This flow integrates with the system passkey dialogue, which 1Password attempts to subvert. Depending on the exact scenario one of three things seems happen: When fully logged out and logging into a generic Microsoft login form (such as logging into accounts.microsoft.com, 1Password always attempts to replace the Company Portal passkey flow When logged in but re-verifying, and 1Password is locked then it still attempts to replace the Company Portal passkey flow When logged in but re-verifying, and 1Password is unlocked then it sees that there's no matching passkey and doesn't interfere Please either fix these issues or switch to the system passkey prompt on Mac which doesn't have this issue.5Views0likes0CommentsHELP! Some of our team member cant access the app within the vault.
I need some help. I’m the admin and password manager, and some team members can’t access the platforms in the vault I shared with them. A few users can log in without issues, but others are getting “incorrect password” errors even though the credentials are correct. I can log in fine on my end, so I’m not sure where the issue is. Because they needed urgent access, we had to share the passwords manually, which defeats the purpose of the vault. I’d really appreciate your help resolving this.13Views0likes1CommentResearch opportunity: Help shape the future of 1Password + gift card for your time

Apologies if this is not in the right format or if I'm missing a formality. I did not notice a sticky post detailing proper introductions for new posters. We have an employee migrating from KeePass to 1Password as part of our organization-wide adoption. Unfortunately, they have encountered some issues with the 1Password extension that I was unable to resolve. Similar problems have been reported in other tickets, but, based on my observations, these issues are not correlated across the different 1Password platforms. Core Issues: In KeePass, users could search for strings found in any field, including URLs, notes, and other metadata. In 1Password, however, search functionality only locates entries if the string is in the title, and does not search within other fields such as URLs, notes, or custom fields. This limitation significantly reduces the ability to efficiently locate entries, especially as the number of passwords, links, and other credentials grows. After migrating from KeePass to 1Password, links that previously appeared clickable in the Note field are now displayed as plain text and cannot be directly accessed by clicking. It is worth noting that the user is currently working exclusively with the extension. I have tested this on the desktop application and the web console and can confirm that the search functionality works differently on both platforms. This inconsistency between the extension and the desktop application is causing frustration among our users. With that being said, I’d like to request consistent search functionality across all platforms. This would make it much easier for users to locate information and ensure a smoother transition from other password managers like KeePass. Thank you.17Views0likes3Comments1password does not work on intranet system
