Improve UI/UX for Exemption / Temporarily Mark Out Of Scope

In Kolide, it would be great if we could combine the exemption and mark out of scope features. Right now, users can request an exemption and that exemption is permanent. But very often when a user needs an exemption, they actually just need a temporary exemption that gives them a few extra days. The most common use case here is for OS updates and the users just need a few extra days. They aren't able to snooze anymore when it gets to this situation.

Here is what it looks like when you temporary mark a device out of scope:

Here is what it looks like when you mark a device as exempt:

As an admin, it would be great you could if you had the extra option to select "Exemption state is temporary and expires on:" similar to the UI that the "Mark out of scope" UI. Honestly, there's so much overlap that I would probably just scrap the Approve Exemption Request UI in favor of the Mark Out of Scope UI.

The other problem here is that when it comes to discovering when a device is marked out of scope or exempt, there's about 3 different places to check:

  1. Go to the admin portal > Check tab > open your relevant Check > Check Results > Out of Scope tab
  2. Go to the admin portal > Check tab > open your relevant Check > Issues > Exempted tab
  3. Go to the admin portal > Issues tab > Exempted. This UI is even more confusing because it seems like it just combines both devices that have been exempted or marked out of scope but no way to identify whether it's temporary or not.

The request here is to vastly improve this UI/UX so that it's easier for admins to just temporarily mark devices out of scope for a check.
