Vault description field is whimpy...

Why is the description field expandable to a large canvas, but limits to a few chars? Seems inconsistent and odd to limit to 1249 chars.

Hi dhalonen​, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I've done some testing and I can replicate this on the 1Password website. This has been reported to the team. Just to confirm, that's where you're seeing the issue as well?

Thanks for the detective work nawan​. It looks like adding a description from the 1Password apps rather than on 1Password.com may be a good workaround.

Could you share the steps you took to reach the second image? I wasn't able to reproduce this in 1Password for Windows.

Yes, the problem is on the website. Even if the MacOS app allows for additional text, the web page truncates it.

    I can see we have an issue open for the truncation as well, which I would anticipate being related. I don't have an ETA on a fix for this behavior, but it has been filed with the team.
