1 Password for Brave on iOS

I use Brave for both iOS and Mac - and have the 1PW extension on my Mac installed. All good there. However, using 1PW on iOS is very different and frustrating. Most of the time when I access a site on iOS that I'm frequently going to on Mac, the key symbol at the bottom of the screen does not appear - no auto fill ins for either the user ID or PW for the site - and also I'm not getting the auto fill in to work.

What or where is a good overview of the setup of 1PW on iOS?

    Hello jgatesway​! 👋

    I'm sorry that you're running into issues when using autofill in Brave on your iOS device. AutoFill on the iPhone and iPad is specifically handled by iOS so we are unable to control which fields get filled when you tap on an item since 1Password only provides the data for the experience. That being said, make sure that AutoFill is setup correctly:


    If you tap on a username or password field on a website in Brave and the key icon doesn't appear above the keyboard then I recommend reporting that issue to the developer of the website in question so that they can investigate why autofill isn't working on their website. 

    I did want to mention that Safari on iOS supports browser extensions so if you're open to using Safari for some websites you can use 1Password for Safari to have the same filling experience that you're used to on your Mac: Get to know 1Password for Safari on your iPhone or iPad
