Bug when opening app after creating a new item or editing an item.
Opening iOS app will create duplicate of recently created item or recently edited item, continuously. It will open the app up directly to new item which makes it feel like you didn’t save the original item previously, but if you save it then it becomes a duplicate. The application is up to date as is the device and it been doing this for days now. 1Password Version: 1Password for iOS 8.10.26 81026039, on PRODUCTION Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: 17.3.1 Browser: Not Provided476Views0likes17Comments[Bug report] Item fields reordering issue
On the iOS version of the 1Password app, I can successfully move only 1 field between sections inside a (login) item. If I move more than one, when I press save only the last one I moved will stay in its new position. 1Password Version: Not Provided Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Not Provided Browser: Not ProvidedSolved148Views0likes13CommentsRegression: App: No keyboard shortcut to search all vaults
Before, pressing Ctrl/Cmd+F from anywhere in the app would focus the main search bar with no text, letting the user search the entire current Collection. Now, pressing Ctrl/Cmd+F when inside a vault clears the current search and automatically prepends a filter for the current vault, limiting search to the current vault. =vault:Personal This is your app so you're free to change behavior. However, you regressed the ability to use a keyboard shortcut to initiate a Collection-wide search from anywhere in the app. The reason you regressed it was to let the user search the current vault. If only there were already a shortcut for that? Oh there already is a shortcut to search the current vault: Ctrl/Cmd+Alt/Opt+F. That's crazy! Why did you do this then? If you're wondering why the harsh tone, it's because I spent dozens of hours working with you guys to debug your Face ID integration when that first became a thing along with a host of other bugs, in the past. However, in the past 4 years or so, any bug I've ever opened on you seems to get closed "as intended", ignoring your own record of truth (changelog) showing that your regressions are often unannounced, unexpected, and even contrary to your changelog. As an industry colleague, this sort of apathetic and arguably negligent behavior is completely pathetic for a security company.36Views0likes1CommentTravel mode and family account
Questions (which I can’t find answers for) how travel mode works in a family account. If I need to enable travel mode for me and I enable travel mode in 1p.com, what happens to the devices of other members of the family account? Can they still access their vaults? What happens to shared vaults that are not enabled for travel?Solved36Views0likes1CommentHelp! Cannot Log in... Recovery code not accepted
I changed a couple things and now I am lost. My last name on my account had a capital letter in the middle so I fixed that. Seemed ok. Then because of the recent WSJ podcast I tried to change my master password. That seemed to work ok. But when I tried to log in... Not accepted. I must have written it down incorrectly. Tried a couple more times no go. I have it on my desk top, iPad, and iPhone. Could not log into any. With face recognition and with the old password I could get to an offline version of the apps. Not sure how long that will last as I read that this is temporary?? So I went with the 'trouble signing in' and got a recovery mode. I saved the recovery code and loaded that up but it also loads the text that is in front and behind the code. I assumed that was meant to be.... but did not work. I had my wife read that whole **bleep** thing while I typed it in. But it was unclear if it all had to be Cap's and not sure if the 0 was a letter or zero. Several more attempts not working. The message I get is "Recovery code could not be activated. Pls check internet...." Internet is fine. One other thing.... again because of the WSJ podcast I installed MacAffee on all my devices. I found out that it was putting me on VPN throughout this. Not sure if that was a problem. Turned that off. Still cannot use the recovery code. I assume I must be locked out at this point? My database in this 1Password is huge. Making me a bit crazy right now. Pls help. I did do the chatbot and got to point where someone is supposed to contact me???55Views0likes3CommentsEditing file names and adding recovery codes
Hello, It would be great to be able to change the name of a file in-app (without having to download then upload the file to do it), it would be very useful for many people and would simplify things for us. Finally, the possibility of adding recovery codes, either via a section (hidden?), or something else. Personally, I always add my recovery codes to 1Password (a bit illogical because if I no longer have my logins, i.e. 1Password, I don't have my recovery codes either, but it allows me to centralize everything and also if I lose the other copy in the other place, I can always recover from 1Password). When I go to create a new login, the user name is prefilled with an email address I haven’t used in years. This shouldn’t have any email address, especially when I use Fastmail’s masked emails. I hope this is a bug and not a normal thing. 1Password Version: 8.10.56 Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: iPad 18.2 and iOS 18.2 Browser: Not ProvidedSolved638Views3likes41CommentsBatch Import QR Codes
Hi 1PW, I am moving over from LastPass, and I'd love it if you built a workflow to help me migrate from LastPass Authenticator. LastPass Authenticator allows me to show the QR code so I can export my OTPs, but it's a drag to enter them into 1Password. Could you let me enter a batch mode where I can scan the QR code I want to import, then let me find the Form Fill I want to attach it to? e.g. as a user, I open my original LastPass Authenticator (LPA) on the screen of my "old" device or using iPhone Mirroring (life hack!); I then get LPA to show the "Export QR Code." --> In 1PW on my "new" phone, or on 1PW Mac using iPhone Mirroring, I use 1PW to scan the QR code. I want 1PW to offer to tag that new OTP it just scanned to whichever Form Fill I find via search, select, and then OK, and then resume scanning more QRs. (Note that the "new" and "Old" phone above only refers to the fact that the "old" phone is the one with all the OTPs on it that you want to import.") This should be much more efficient way of migrating from LastPass (Authenticator). Thanks!Solved14Views0likes1CommentIs my VPN being blocked?
Hi all, All my traffic goes out through a VPN. As of yesterday, I seem to be unable to authenticate to 1Password. On the Mac App I see a crossed out red cloud. If I use my mobile phone as a hot-spot, it works. This is what I can see in the logs.
