1P Safari cannot be opened. I have added safari ext but when I try to open I get the same pop up

I have added the safari extension for all applications as requested. When I click on the icon I get the same 'extension' pop up 1Password Version: 8.9.8 Extension Version: 2.4.1 OS Version...

Hello Dave,

thx for getting back to this thread.

In my case I was able to solve my problem by checking the name of the App in the Applications folder.

I temporarily renamed 1Password.app to 1Password8.app in order to use Version 7 temporarily - and this caused the trouble with the browser extension in Safari. Now everything is working fine.
