1P8 and the browser extension

Several times I have experienced a workflow like this: When setting up a new account, 1Password suggests a password. I accept it and hone 1P8 asks if I want to save this password, I pause and read ...

If I click "save" the password is saved. If the page reloads before I click save, then the dialog box goes away and the password is not saved.

This is NOT desired behavior. In 1P7 the dialog box would remain not he screen indefinitely until I responded to in [Save|Cancel] I want that functionality back. 1P8 is an unmitigated disaster!
