Hi, I just switch from the standard ssh-agent to the one provided in 1Password. The reason for doing it is that I also use 1Password to manage my TOTP. I was expecting that there was some way to auto-fill TOTP code after a successful login with the SSH key but It does not seem so simple. Reading the doc, I understand that auto-fill works when the login is used with a user/pwd retrieved from 1Password which is not the case here. Did I miss something? Is there a way to match the TOTP code generated with a host+user (and without a password)? Is there a way to get it working when the user to use with the host is preset in the SSH configuration rather than retrieved from 1Password? Thanks in advance for any suggestion. I've recently bought three Google Titan Security Keys and successfully connected them to my three 1Password accounts via the Chrome browser on the latest version available. These keys are advertised by 1Password to be compatible with the software. Logging in with them on the browser side works fine, but when trying to log in with them on the Mac app, the key does not get prompted, the LED stays off, and even if I touch the key, nothing happens. I have already tried: 1. Setting up the Titan key in the Chrome browser instead of the Comet browser. 2. Restarting all the apps, browsers, and browser extensions. 3. Removing the Titan keys and re-adding them. 4. Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the 1Password app following every step listed in the uninstalling 1Password help article. But still, the problem persists. This issue has been brought up on multiple occasions in the community forums over the last two years, and still no fix seems to have been pushed for this issue. See the below table for a summary of other threads describing the same issue. It's absolutely unacceptable that this issue has been known for two years and still there has not been any attempt to fix it. This seems to be a very simple issue for a feature you are outwardly advertising as being supported just not working and making your whole product unusable. Please present me with a fixed ASAP or I'm ready to cancel my 1Password subscription and switch to a different provider because this is just not acceptable at all. Anyone else has this issue? 1Password asks me to re-enter my 1PWD account 2FA constantly since changing phone. Removing / Re-installing did nothing. Support is rather useless. They had me turn on/off 2FA on my account, so now it’s also doing it on my iPad and Mac.6Views0likes0CommentsWatchtower score not identical
Hi All, I have 1Password installed on my Mac, Windows PC and iPhone. The Watchtower score on my Mac and iPhone is 1190. The Watchtower score on my Windows PC is 1150. (A difference of 40 points) Given I am logged into the same 1Password account on all three devices, shouldn't the Watchtower score be the same across all three? I've checked and there are no un-synced changes or anything... Can anyone suggest what the problem/issue is? I've been trying to resolve a login issue with support for a week. Support takes a whole day to reply and sometimes 2. Thats just not acceptable. Due to this issue I cannot log into my account. If I start a new item (LOGIN), it will assume that I want a particular email address as my default loginID. While that value that pops up was valid for me 10 years ago, it is not valid now. Where in 1Password (MacOS) do I go to clean out or set up preferred values for autofilled fields in the forms as I create a record in 1PW? Thanks. Mike7Views0likes0CommentsBrowser extension in Firefox requires multiple attempts to unlock
For about the past couple of months, whenever I click on the 1PW icon in my browser (Firefox) toolbar, instead of immediately presenting me with the little Touch ID/PW window option, it first requests the full password, and I have to click it about 7-8 times to finally get the Touch ID/PW window. Sometimes it then opens with touch ID, but sometimes it locks again and I have to click it a couple more times to get the touch ID window to unlock it. This never happened before, and it's very frustrating. I was on MacOS 15.6 (just updated to 26.0.1 - same behavior), Firefox 143.0.3; M2 Macbook Air; 1PW 8.11.14 (81114019, on BETA channel); Browser extension v 8.11.12.27 (I just updated it 2 days ago - no change). Any thoughts on why this recently started happening? Thanks!Solved70Views1like10CommentsPasskeys not working on the Mac
On iOS 26, I'm able to select 1Password as an AutoFill provider in the AutoFill & Passwords panel under Settings > General > AutoFill & Passwords. On macOS 26.0.1, I'm unable to select 1Password as an AutoFill provider under System Settings and this is preventing me from using passkeys in 1Password in Safari. I have tried disabling AutoFill entirely in System Settings but that didn't help at all. Instead, I get this extremely unhelpful "Choose how to manage your passkeys" dialog (see below) which gets me absolutely nowhere. How can I fix this? What can I do to allow 1Password to automatically handle all passkey and autofill requests correctly? iOS 26 - no issues with choosing 1Password macOS 26.0.1 - no way to select 1Password40Views0likes5Comments
