1Password Categories only in english on german client?
Hello everybody, since today, on MacOS and Windows 11 in the german client all categories are labeled in english. The rest of the sidebar is labeled correctly in my native language (german). Version 8.12.8 Browser Entension is OK, also the client on Android. Is this by intent or is it a bug? Kind regards
Please make changes to preserve item history when moving an item to another vault
Hello all, I found that moving an item to another vault would lose its item history. I tried to access a historical note of an item that I moved to another vault, and I cannot find the option "View Item History" from the web app for the moved item in the new vault. Moving back the item does not restore the historical changes. I could reproduce this issue by creating a new item, changing something, and moving to another vault. I do find a workaround - I found the moved item also in my original vault's "Recently Deleted", and I can restore that item to my original vault and access its history. However, this makes me agitated since I must remember to do this whenever I move an item to preserve its history. I suggest the developers could make either of these two changes - Preserve the item history of the moving item Rather than deleting the item, archive the item, since the deleted item will be permanently purged after 30 days. Note, this is mostly for Workday and their horrible resume parsing tool. I've been applying for a new job—a lot (not AI, I actually like m dashes). Looks like most employers use Workday for the application process. For each application I have to upload a resume and then Workday attempts to parse it out in their forms fill section. Rarely works. Line breaks are weird, job descriptions filled in for the wrong job, etc. I would love the option to create a form fill for situations especially like this. Enter in resume details one using the workday form field titles and then have 1P fill it all in. There are chrome and Firefox extensions for this, but most have no ratings and need a lot of access to your info. I've come to trust 1P and would love to use it for more things. Thanks!
Beyond frustrated - 'op' detects no accounts?!?
Between the https://github.com/1Password/shell-plugins/issues/122#issuecomment-2183950261 and now this, 1password-cli is frustrating to use and has sucked more time out of me than helped. According to https://developer.1password.com/docs/cli/app-integration/ enabling CLI integration should automatically cause "op" to detect 1Password on my machine. It worked exactly once and broke after the most recent updates to 1password-cli and 1Password app. it is now prompting me to manually add an account: % op -v 2.33.0 % op vault list No accounts configured for use with 1Password CLI. - Turn on the 1Password desktop app integration to sign in with the accounts you've added to the app: https://developer.1password.com/docs/cli/app-integration/ for details. - Add an account manually with 'op account add' and sign in by entering your password on the command line. Feature Request: Don't Remember Last Search
For my workflow, I always get frustrated when I return to 1Password and find that my previous search is there. I usually want to start a new search when I activate 1Password. MacOS Password prompt covers 1Password suggestion box
I saw a post where the 1PW box covers the MacOS prompt, but I seem to have the reverse issue. Haven't seen this issue in other posts, pardon if I missed it. There doesn't seem to be a way to avoid the overlapping selection boxes. I'm running Mac OS 15.6. Any ideas or is this one for the suggestion box? Can we select where the selection box appears in relation to the input box?How can I search for only part of a password in 1password.
I get notices from my security company that a password is breached. They only send a small portion of the password like ed**** or ed***g. How can I search for this in 1Passwrd.
