1P8: Auto clear search field in iOS
I think we can consider adding a feature to auto clear the search field on iOS app.
Here are the steps a user usually do
- Tap on 3rd Search tab on iOS app.
- Type a few characters (e.g. "XYZ") to start searching.
- The desired result shows up.
- Tap on desired result.
- Copy/See the password
- Ignore the app or put the app into background.
- Next time you open the app (let's say 5 mins later) to search for another item, you have to go back to previous search screen, here is where the annoyance appears, the characters "XYZ" is still there with previous results, you need to clear it yourself first before making another search.
We can improve the overall experience in the last step by auto clear XYZ characters or provide an option in Setting page to A/B testing if needed. This makes the page is ready to search when you need to use 1Password.
