3 years ago1Password 8.7 Safari 15.4 Control key combination displays an unprintable character
Background: I use Dokuwiki for documentation, I have for 17 years. The save page key combination "Control" "Option" S has long ago been burned into my brain.
After installing 1Password 8.7, THAT key combination in Safari now produces an unprintable "box" character in the text instead of being captured as a command by the webpage and saving my edits.
If in Security and Privacy > Accessibility, I disable 1Password, and relaunch Safari, the problem goes away.

Sounds good. Thank you again for reporting the issue! 😊

I'm glad you were able to reproduce it.
If it happens again I will try the Ctrl + S method.
Thanks!

Hi @Thorgrim:
Thanks for reporting this. I was able to replicate this, and have filed it internally for some further investigation. In the meantime, I can share some additional information. This issue won't occur until after you've opened Quick Access or triggered a Universal Autofill after starting 1Password. Additionally, once the issue occurs, you can use
Ctrl + Sto save in Dokuwiki, rather thanCtrl+Option+S. Let me know how you get on with that!Jack
