1Password 8 Beta for Mac eating up CPU

I'm seeing 1Password 8 Beta for Mac eating up my CPU. It's currently at 70% CPU when the main window isn't even open. Is this a bug? Hopefully, it will get resolved in a future release as my MacBook ...

Hi @abnovak, this certainly is not expected behavior. I'm sorry to learn this has happened. Our Mac team will be more than happy to investigate it for you.

So that we can follow up, could you send a short email with a link to this discussion to support+mac@1Password.com? You've already told us the nature of the problem (way inappropriate resource usage), and over there our colleagues can discuss details and help figure out what specifically might be going wrong here.
