The frequency with which 1Password forgets the last-selected collection has suddenly increased
This has bugged me for years, but recently it's got worse.
For as long as I can remember, 1Password has intermittently forgotten the last selected collection and silently reverted to all collections. This issue has never been truly fixed. Even when it was supposedly fixed, you could never rely on it 100%. There was always something e.g. a reboot, or restarting the app, or maybe just not using the app for a while and then using it, that would cause 1Password to silently revert to all collections.
For this reason, I'm not going to say this is a regression. Because it was never 100% fixed. What I will say is the frequency with which 1Password forgets the last-selected collection and silently reverts to all collections has suddenly increased recently. It's not every time I open the app, but it is something like an everyday occurrence now - this is on both macOS (1Password 8.12.10) and iOS (1Password 8.12.10).
What I don't understand is, why is this so hard? When the user selects a collection, that ought to be sacrosanct. Unless the user selects a different collection, the last-selected collection should remain the selected collection until the heat death of the universe, as far as I'm concerned! Why can't it be so?
