1password 8 Installer assumes running as system admin
Hello,
My default user does not have administrator access to my system. I had to login as admin to run the installer, instead of just being asked to provide the username and password for an admini...
Yeah, this is a non-starter for me too. All modern installers seem to be able to note that the user doesn't have appropriate permissions and prompt for a different account. I'm kind of surprised that a security tool doesn't assume that most users using it are also cautious enough to run as a Standard user primarily. Any updates on this?
