Hi @AkamaiGuy,

Done! In case it helps in the meantime, you can use Quick Access to open an item in 1Password to edit it there. The keyboard shortcut for this is Shift+Cmd+O once the item is highlighted in Quick Access.

Your feedback has been recorded though and I understand how it would be useful to edit directly from the separate window. Thanks for letting us know this is important to you!
