1Password and DuckDuckGo
My household uses DuckDuckGo (DDG) on on desktops, laptops, phones. After looking at the issues here regarding integration with and using 1P with DDG, I think I'll hold off on purchasing this product...

Hello CuTyGr68! 👋
Welcome to the 1Password community! On the iPhone and Android, you can save and fill logins in DuckDuckGo by using the steps in these guides:
- Use 1Password to save logins and sign in to apps and websites on your Android device
- Use 1Password to save logins and sign in to apps and websites on your iPhone and iPad
For the desktop and laptop, DuckDuckGo doesn't currently support browser extensions at all so you won't be able to use our browser extension either. However, you can still fill logins from 1Password using our desktop app's auto-type feature:
Let me know if you have any questions.-Dave

The Autofill feature rarely works on DuckDuckGo (DDG). In fact, I cannot even login to 1Password | Community using DDG, I have to use Chrome. With their OWN product I cannot even login here to complain about support for it.
It'd be one thing if I could press Shift+Cmd+space on my DDG browser and do AutoFill that way, but nope. It works maybe half the time or less.Additionally, Passkeys just DO NOT work at all on DDG. That also should be simple to support. Both of these features work fine on Chrome, and many support agents here say, "Just use Shift-Cmd (Ctrl)-Space to use 1P on DDG," but nope, barely works, if at all.
Come on 1P, your audience is privacy-focused, and security conscious, you really should work harder on better support for DDG's browser.- 1P_Dave7 days ago

Thank you for the feedback. DuckDuckGo doesn't support third-party browser extensions like 1Password. This means that most of 1Password's autofill and passkey features won't be available in that browser since they rely on our browser extension.
Can you clarify if you're using a Mac or a Windows PC? I might be able to offer some additional suggestions but 1Password won't be able to fully work in DuckDuckGo unless that browser introduces support for third-party extensions in the future.

MacOS. iOS. Does Firefox work relatively well?
It’s actually surprising to me, but I rely so heavily on 1P that I may consider changing back to Firefox from DDG if there’s better support there on MacOS.
Thanks for your kind reply and sorry if I sounded a bit whiny! It’s just SO frustrating to try even the suggested alternative (Shift CMD Space to launch 1P) and have it not work either. Seems like it’d just be a simple matter of JavaScript, but I suppose that’s what an extension is, just “approved JS that’s allowed to run in the browser”).
Thanks again.

Thanks for the information Dave. I may try the 14 day trial, to give it a test drive.
