1Password and future WebAuthn support?

I spotted the new blog post announcing FIDO Alliance and WebAuthn support being in the works.
https://blog.1password.com/1password-is-joining-the-fido-alliance/

I watched the little demo video and this looks rather nice for the average user.

I currently require Yubikey for work enterprise applications, and so I have setup my Yubikeys across multiple sites already.
I was wondering if it would be technically possible to register a YubiKey into 1Password to use for the WebAuthn process?

This might save me the work of having to convert my logins to using 1Password as the WebAuthn source.

    Hey ragectl:

We're thrilled to hear you're excited about WebAuthn in 1Password! It's still early days, so we don't have much to share just yet.

What I can tell you is it won't be possible to import WebAuthn credentials from other WebAuthn authenticators. That would require exporting the private key from the authenticator, which isn't possible by design. Keep an eye on our blog for updates!
