1Password app is locked to an acount i no longer have - uninstalling does not help

1password application comes up with icon and password prompt. this is for an account i no longer have. remove 1password from windows using "add or remove program" and reinstalling does not help. ...

Thanks for your message and I'm sorry to hear of the troubles you've been encountering with an account you no longer use.

Do you currently have another account you are signed into in 1Password 8 for Windows? If so, you can try following the steps here to Sign out of 1Password for the account you'd like to remove.
