1Password Chrome Extension as Default Password Manager Prevents Chrome from Saving Non-Login suggest
I'm encountering an issue after setting the 1Password Chrome extension as my default password manager. Since doing so, Chrome seems to have stopped saving and suggesting non-login autofill information, such as search suggestions based on my frequent searches on various websites.
For example, I used to get item suggestions on shopping websites based on frequent searches, or movie title suggestions on movie rating sites, etc. These were general suggestions based on my browsing history and search patterns, not related to login credentials. However, since installing and enabling the 1Password Chrome extension as the default password manager, these suggestions no longer appear.
While I understand that many users might find these types of suggestions annoying, I actually rely on this feature and find it quite useful for my workflow.
Is this intended behavior when 1Password is set as the default password manager? Or could this be a bug? Is there a setting within 1Password or Chrome that I might be missing to restore these non-login autofill suggestions?
Any insights or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
