1Password doesn’t attempt FaceID authentication if timed out

I often leave 1Password in Slide Over for quick access. However, I’ve noticed that in the past few weeks that if I bring it back into focus after it’s timed out it doesn’t attempt authenticating with FaceID until I explicitly tap the FaceID icon. Isn’t it supposed to try FaceID once the app’s back in focus?
