Hi Dave,
If I understand correctly, you're saying it's stored in the Keychain but not the Passwords app, right? How can I remove it from my keychain and verify it's gone?

5 months agoIf you have an account being suggested in the 1Password app that you no longer use then you can remove it by right-clicking on the account suggestion and then choosing “Remove Account from List”. Make sure to carefully review the warning message and then choose “Confirm Account Removal” if you wish to proceed with removing the account suggestion.
If you're currently using the 1Password app with an active 1Password account, there's no way to prevent the 1Password app from saving your Secret Key to the Keychain.
The information in the Keychain is end-to-end encrypted (like 1Password) so that no one, not even Apple, is able to access it. Only you can access it. Can you tell me a little more about why you'd want to remove the Secret Key from the Keychain? I'd be happy to pass your feedback along to the team.
