1Password for Mac 8 disappears from desktop in Beta version on Mac OS X 11.2, whereas V 7 did not.

After locating 1P onto my desktop and specifying that it should always remain there, it disappears, behavior at variance from V7. Is this planned or a bug? If planned, please consider making the window sticky again.
