Could you reproduce the behaviour, and then create some diagnostics reports from both the extension and desktop app:
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to: support@1password.com
With your email please include:

Hi Thorsten, thank you for opening this discussion. I am also having the same issue. How was this solved? I see the case is marked as solved but there is no explanation on why this is happening and how to fix it.

I was contacted by the support team that they're aware of this issue and already working on a fix. Because there's nothing I can do I marked the issue as resolved (although it really isn't...)
