1Password incorrectly reports Wavebox is out of date
- The good news is that 8.10.52.25 fixes the above-noted cross browser interaction issue.
- The bad news is the originally-noted interaction issue remains.
Progress, at least!

This is still an issue. Is there any progress?

I just tried from my iPhone and it started working using Safari on iOS. Still doesn't work on my Mac.

I just tried again, but I get the usual behavior: it starts creating a passkey, it even saves it in 1Password, but then in the browser the SwissID page says "Something went wrong" and it doesn't store it on their side. Really weird.

I am having the same issue with SwissID. Any idea of when it can be fixed? I really don't want to create the passkey with the native iOS password manger if it can be avoided, and SwissID will make passkeys mandatory soon.

I am facing the same issue. I also messaged the Support of SwissID. They only gave me a standard answer that they are only support native iOS, Windows and Android and can`t help me. That`s not acceptable for me.
With the 2FA App Method which will be disabled in 1 Month this is really annoying.
1P_Dave do you have any news on that?

I'm sorry for the impact that the issue is causing. I don't have any news to share at the moment. I've shared your report with our development team.

I'm sorry that you're unable to create a passkey on swissid.ch using 1Password. This is a known issue that our development team is currently working with SwissID to resolve and I've added your reports to our internal tracking item for the issue. Hopefully the issue can be resolved soon.
For the time being, you can use other authentication methods to sign into the website.

It is still not solved. I totally get it, that 1Password is not the problem here and I hope you are still working on it.

1P_Dave Note that swissid announced they will remove other 2FA methods by mid-2025 to exclusively rely on passkeys (received an email last week).

I'm sorry for the disruption that the issue is causing. Would you mind posting a screenshot of the email that you received from SwissID (as long as it doesn't contain any sensitive information)? I can pass it along to our development team to help prioritize the issue.
If you'd prefer to avoid posting the screenshot to the forum then you can email it to support@1Password.com and include a link to this thread.

Same here on macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 (23G93). Chrome Browser Version 135.0.7049.85 (Official Build) (arm64). 1Password browser extension version 8.10.70.2781070027, on STABLE channel. I also have the desktop app 1Password 7 Version 7.9.11 (70911001) Mac App Store.
I do get a prompt first from macOS regarding passkey on SwissID website then Chrome browser with 3 options (iCloud Keychain; use phone, tablet or security key; chrome profile) when I cancel macOS prompt. I do not get a prompt from 1password application at all.
