1Password for Windows opens in edit mode on random login
I'm new to 1Password, having previously tried multiple password managers, never being happy with their features. I'm really glad I switched, since 1PW really is a godsend. The UX is incredible on all platforms.
However, I'm running into an issue with the Windows app (version 8.10.72 [81072027]). Every time I close the app to the taskbar (or close it fully), and then open it back up either from the taskbar or from the desktop or start menu, a item is open in edit mode. Sometimes it's a new one, sometimes it's the same as the last time. This happens even after a reinstall and sign out -> sign in.
It doesn't matter whether or not I cancel the edit before closing the app, it still opens in edit mode every time.
I have recorded a short clip that demonstrates it (currently it's stuck on my Emby login):

Hello happysw! 👋
Welcome to 1Password! I'm sorry for the delay in replying. Can you tell me if you're still seeing the same issue after updating to the latest version of 1Password for Windows (8.10.75):
If you are still seeing the same issue then do you have a lot of items saved in 1Password? In the range of thousands? I look forward to hearing from you.-Dave

Hi & thanks for the reply!
I have since reinstalled Windows (for other reasons) and the issue hasn’t popped up again. I assume it is something that only happens in very specific circumstances. I have about 200-300 passwords, and it happened after I have set up a bunch of logins with 2FA.

I'm glad that you're no longer seeing the issue after reinstalling Windows.
