1Password Github Student Developer pack offer error

Same error as another user below is having. Logged into github, logged into 1 password, click the link to get the student offer. 

Ran through testing in console and basically oauth "state" check is failing due to token not being stored locally--stored oauth state is missing. Guessing using two tabs to open 1password and github broke flow.?

Anyway that's all the console says. 

I've also tried having my school email and github emails match.
