4 years ago1Password Launch and Unlock is slow in Firefox
Has anyone run into this behavior? From lock, launching the 1Password extension in Firefox lags by a second or two from the keyboard shortcut. After entering password and seeing the unlock animation, I'll get a windows UI "thinking" cursor for 5+ seconds before 1Password's integration finally responds and recommends password fills, etc. Any idea what's causing this extreme delay? Once unlocked, the program behaves as expected... I'm using a 1password.com vault, for what it's worth...
1Password Version: 7.7.810
Extension Version: 2.0.5
OS Version: Windows 10

Clicked off the integration, and it's back to lightning fast response times. Happy to trade that for the perma-unlock. Thanks!

Hey @andspenrob ,
If your extension is integrated with the desktop app, a delay of about ~2-5 seconds is expected, but it sounds like the overall unlock time (from pressing the shortcut to unlocking) is longer than that.
If you right-click the extension's icon on the top right corner of your browser and go to "Settings" -> Turn off the "Integrate with 1Password app" option, does the extension unlock faster?
If so, we might consider resetting the desktop app and see if that improves things. You can also keep that integration feature turned off but you'll be losing on features such as Windows Hello unlock and keeping the extension unlocked even if you close the browser.
