Hi,
what is the reason for not having 1PW 8 in the Mac Appstore? Only 1PW 7 is available and I installed 1PW directly from your page. But I'm still interested why not offering via Mac Appstore?

Installed Apps via Appstore are easier to update via central place and you can be sure to have a safe and verified version.
I wanted to take a moment to respond to this specifically. macOS features a very capable security technology called Gatekeeper that will only allow you to install trustworthy apps whose digital signature comes from a registered developer and is notarized by Apple. Unless you deliberately disable/bypass this security feature, you'll only be able to install 1Password 8 from our website if macOS confirms a valid digital signature.
